THE JOURNEY
Neuroscience, psychoneuroimmunology, epigenetic, Chinese medicine and Ayurveda all point out that our lifestyle and environment affects our health rather than our genetic make-up. Our thoughts and feelings are known to play a powerful role in controlling the biological system that keeps us alive. Our emotions seem to regulate our genetic expression. When we think a thought, neurons are firing in the brain, creating an electrical charge that causes a chemical reaction that result in an emotion.
The emotion triggered by that chemical will likely influence the sequence and the quality of all the following thoughts and again send messages to release more chemicals of the same nature. The more we focus on a thought the more chemicals we release into the body. We may find ourselves easily trapped in negative mental loops especially when our electromagnetic field is weakened. Feeling and memories trigger emotions that influence the strength of the electromagnetic field of the body.
Our thinking influences our chemicals and our chemicals influence our thinking. Chemicals released in the body due to stress and negative emotions like cortisol and adrenaline are meant to give us a temporary boost to face an immediate threat (fight-or-flight response). Such chemicals are designed to stay in the body only for a limited time.
Unfortunately in our fast paced society far from nature and exposed to unnatural stimulations we get easily depleted and we may perceive reality as a continuous threat. We then release an unnecessary amount of stress hormones into the system finding ourselve unable to naturally reset our biological natural balance. Knowing techniques that enhance the body electromagnetic field and the right flow of prana will give us enough strength and momentum to regulate our psycho-physiological balance.

YOGA
Thousands of books have been written on the subject of Yoga, some are the most sublime and inspiring texts ever created by a human mind. It is an elusive topic to describe in words due to its intrinsic nature. Yoga means “to join”, it is the practice that unites all the parts of our being: the mind, the body and the spirit. It is much more than a physical practice, in its original intention is a science of spiritual development aiming at Self-realization, the discovery of our true nature beyond time and space.
It is said that there are subtle energy lines running throughout the entire body called Nadis or meridians which facilitated the movement of Prana, also referred as Qi in Chinese, Ki in Japanese, Mana in Hawaiian. It is the life force, the subtle energy of air and the master force behind all mind-body functions. On an inner level, it governs the development of higher states of consciousness.
The free-flow of prana thought the nadis is believed to be responsible for our health. Due to stress and traumas, prana tends to get depleted and blocked creating imbalances that may manifest as physical and emotional issues. Yoga and meditation are specifically designed to regulate and correct the proper flow of prana in the whole system promoting vitality, clarity, endurance, necessary for us to really feel healthy, fearless and confident.

KUNDALINI YOGA
Kundalini Yoga also called “Yoga of Awareness” is an ancient technology that offers many solutions and benefits. It produces a feeling of clarity and expanded, elevated consciousness just after the first class. Kundalini Yoga provides a wide variety of approaches suitable for different personalities and ages. It offers hundreds of different sets and meditations that can be used to address specific physical or emotional issues. It is excellent to reduce stress and emotional blockages. It is believed that emotional blockages can be erased by physical postures, sound and breath.
Kundalini yoga builds back confidence, mental strength and it gives an intuitive new vision of the challenges we have to deal with. This increased level of awareness guides us to clearly recognize what are the patterns of behaviors we usually rely on when we are facing difficult situations and what is the cause that triggers that specific response while giving us insights on how we can correct it. Kundalini yoga is a very complete form of yoga, composed of a combination of physical postures, breathing exercises, mantras, mudras and meditations.
Each class is different and creates a specific impact on the whole being. When you finish a Kundalini yoga class you are not the same person as when you started, you realize that something has shifted for good. You feel grounded, connected, content, ready, rested and willing to take action. It is like you are a candle and the candle has been lit from a fire and a light that will shine in you forever.

MEDITATION
The practice of meditation produces countless psycho-physiological benefits. It improves the immune system, heart rate, breathing, blood pressure and inflammatory disorders. It lessens worry, anxiety, stress, depression and fear. It also enhances self-esteem, focus and confidence. To learn how to meditate is a must, no question about it. The mind produces continuous thoughts, some come and go unnoticed. Unprocessed thoughts, feelings, emotions and memories get stored into the subconscious mind. Every thought has its own structure and identity.
Thoughts hold an energetic emotional charge that can unconsciously influence our decisions and how we react with our inner and outer world. Meditation helps us to bring unprocessed thoughts, emotions and limited beliefs at the level of our awareness where we can consciously process them and act accordingly. A fundamental function of meditation is that it gives us the ability to change the nature of our brain waves in a few instants. If we want to disconnect from the outer world and go inward we need to learn how to change our brain waves.
It makes a major difference in our daily life. It is as important to have perfect control on the brakes and accelerator in our car. To use the same analogy, it seems that nowadays we are driving with both pedals pressed down. Our emotional disturbances are linked up with wrong movements of the life force. Mantra meditation is one of the most effective techniques to quiet emotional turbulence. Repeating a mantra makes the mind focused and reduces distractions, it is the main method of treating consciousness. It changes the energetic structure of the mind, which dissolves the problem. It creates an energy that neutralizes and overrides problems.
