Come practice a daily blend of Yoga styles intended to gradually re-calibrate your entire system. Experience a deeper connection with nature and your body, while also learning about meditation and how to practice it in your daily life.
The aim is to reach a state of flow also known as “being in the zone”. A natural mental state produced by performing activities in full involvement and energized focus. Nature and your body will help you learn how to be more present, aware and relaxed.
Explore the best the island has to offer in our daily tours. We will hike with an experienced guide, swim with whales with a marine biologist, and sail in the ancient Polynesian way. This retreat has been designed to host a small group to ensure we provide the best experience for all.

Our Activities
Bike tour
Discover the island in an authentic way and be transported to magical places in Moorea by Electric Bike. Enjoy fresh air and fabulous views aboard a fun and easy-to-operate electric bike. Pineapple plantations, Polynesian temples, white sand beaches...The entire island to explore. Bikes are charged for 100 miles. Helmets and bike locks are included.
Whales tour
We will swim with Humpback Whales, Dolphins, Rays and other marine wildlife here on the island on a private boat tour with Moorea Ocean Adventures. A small company dedicated to fun, personal and informative adventure tours.
Moorea Ocean Adventures team is composed of experienced naturalist guides and boat captains. The staff is managed by Marine Biologist, Matthieu Petit and Waterman, Trevor Orth.
Hiking tour
Our local guide Valentin Urarii will show us the majestic beauty of his native island. Hiking in Moorea will take your breath away being one of the most visually beautiful island in the world. Come discover the magnificent landscape, lush forests, pineapple fields, wild flowers and breathtaking views.
Sailing tour
Vaapiti is a self-crafted canoe hand-made in Moorea. Discover traditional, Polynesian sailing with our "va'a" (Polynesian canoe), built by our Captain, Raphaël. With Vaapiti, we will sail all while learning how to steer the ship and hoist the sails. We look forward to showing you unique places rich in biodiversity, sandbanks, tropical fish, rays, sharks, motu, underwater tikis, reefs and some secret spots only known by locals.
Kayak tour
See more of the underwater world in French Polynesia on a guided kayak tour of Moorea Lagoon. The crystal-clear waters of the lagoon are home to a colorful array of fish and corals that you can see through the transparent kayak. Float over the reefs, stop for snorkeling, look for sea turtles and rays, and learn about traditional Polynesian culture from our guide.
Yoga
Practice yoga and meditation daily with Fabrizio Furlanis (visit our website’s About section for biography). We will explore different styles of yoga that blend with our daily activities. During the week, we will learn about the mind from a yogic perspective; what it is, how it works and what are the tools available in order to have a better control over it.
What led us to organize this retreat
Nowadays, people are experiencing feelings of disconnection and isolation. As Doctor Gabor Maté recently shared, we are living four types of alienation: Alienation from nature, alienation from work, alienation from society and alienation from ourselves. It can easily be noticed by observing the damages we are ultimately provoking to our planet…
Many have been feeling unsatisfied with their careers as they are unable to fully express their real talents or aspirations all while receiving undesirable salaries. External stimulation such as social media has been influencing our lives and not entirely in the most positive ways. It has been hindering our communication skills. Our social skills and ability to relate and understand others lack empathy and trust. Unfortunately, this feeling of disconnection reduces our ability to listen to our inner compass so it becomes more and more difficult to cope with stressors.
What to expect
The feeling of Isolation is just an illusion. What we perceive as reality is a process that involves our consciousness. The ego is just a network, a neuronal network. Yoga and meditation are the essential keys to dis-integrate this network.
When our body and mind are properly engaged we produce healthy neurochemicals that are highly beneficial to our health. Dopamine, endorphin, serotonin, oxytocin, anandamide, create neurobiological changes in the mind-body function. The results are tightened focus, fresh perspective, heightened perception, more connections between different ideas, lateral thinking and the loosing up of filters on incoming data.
Exploring more holistic approaches to cope with stress and anxiety is more important than ever if we wish to recalibrate our internal balance and inner strength. Being in nature all while being kinder to body and mind is a great start to re-connect.



Your itinerary
Day 1 : 1:00 PM ORIENTATION, time for self (enjoy the beach for your first swim on the island!), afternoon yoga and meditation. Group welcome dinner.
Day 2 : Morning yoga and meditation, breakfast, sailing tour, time for self, afternoon yoga and meditation, dinner.
Day 3: Morning yoga and meditation, breakfast, hiking tour, time for self, afternoon yoga and meditation, dinner.
***At night we have the option to gather and enjoy local entertainment ***
Day 4: Morning yoga and meditation, breakfast, whale tour, time for self, afternoon yoga and meditation, dinner.
Day 5: Morning yoga and meditation, breakfast, kayak tour, time for self, afternoon yoga and meditation, dinner.
Day 6: Morning yoga and meditation , breakfast, bicycle tour, time for self, afternoon yoga and meditation. dinner.

Day 7: Morning yoga and meditation, breakfast, chill day at the beach, games, snorkeling and free time to explore on your own, afternoon yoga and meditation. Group final dinner.
*** The whale season in Moorea is from July to November. We will find the best day and conditions to swim with these beautiful creatures. Unfortunately, we can’t fully guarantee that we will be able to swim with them, but we will do our very best. ***

Join us for this rejuvenating retreat experience with yoga, meditation and water sport activities. We will being staying in TIAHURA, (west side of the island) in a beautiful Villa, enjoy local, fresh and healthy food from our private chef. We can also arrange accommodation in a cozy, modern beachfront boutique hotel if requested.

To secure a spot for the Moorea Retreat (October 23 - 29) is required a 500 $ non-refundable deposit. The remainder of the package price is due by September 23

Changes
Most reservations cannot be changed after itinerary approval. Confirmed reservations cannot be changed. However, it may be possible to add service.
Refund policy
The deposit of 500$ and final payments on packages are non-refundable and non-transferable.
We strongly recommends the purchase of a full-coverage travel insurance to protect against unforeseen events.
